Integers
Basics 
Integers are either positive (+) or negative (). 
The bigger a positive number is the larger value. (+ 9) < (+ 11) or (+ 12) > ( +4) Another way of thinking of this  the further a positive number is from zero the larger it is in value. 
The bigger a negative number is the smaller the value. (  5) < (  3) or (  15 ) > ( 12) Another way of thinking of this  the further a negative number is from zero the smaller it is in value.
