Add and Subtract

Decimals
Some Simple rules:
1) Always write the problem as given then rewrite it standing tall.
2) Be sure to write the numbers in the order as it was written.
3) Watch out for any invisible decimals.- if you don't see one, it's invisible and one should be placed behind the last number.
4) Line up the decimals.

Go over your work checking for any errors.

A scrap box should be used to do the calculations. Try not to get into the habit of doing your scrap work on another piece of paper. It is much easier to find a mistake if all the work is in front of you and located close to the problem.
